It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stratagem's founder, Nicola Baker-Munton, on 3 February 2024. 

Nicola started Stratagem in 1999 after identifying a need for in-house style IP advice to early-stage biotech companies. Over the years, Nicola grew the firm and developed a strong team alongside her, providing strategic IP support to a wide range of companies in many different industries. Stratagem is a powerful legacy to its inspirational founder, and with the support of her family, we take this forward as we move ahead.

Nicola's kindness, knowledge, and passion for IP will be greatly missed by many people, and our thoughts are very much with her family and friends at this difficult time.

On Friday, July 12, Nicola’s family will celebrate her life with a memorial service. Please email Nicola’s family at memorial@baker-munton.co.uk if you would like to attend or for further information about the service.
